Three-step guide to
meditation at the Priory
1Find a seat
You don’t need to sit cross-legged on the floor to meditate effectively. Simply find somewhere you can sit up comfortably without too much distraction.
2Close your eyes and breathe
Begin by closing your eyes and counting slowly to eight as you inhale and exhale. If you get distracted it’s fine, just keep refocusing on your breathing.
3Set a time
You don’t need to meditate for hours to get the benefits - just a few minutes can help clear your mind. Pick a time that suits you and clear your mind until that time is up.
